About
Our accredited Bachelor of Laws (Honours)/Bachelor of Politics, Philosophy and Economics gives you a practical, progressive and multi-disciplinary education with a unique social and ethical perspective on how the law operates. In your law studies, you'll learn skills in negotiation, dispute resolution and ethical decision-making, and how to apply these in both legal and non-legal settings. You can then put these skills to work with placement opportunities.
You'll graduate ready to tackle real-world problems, including climate change, sustainable innovation and the distribution of wealth. Enhance your political expertise by learning how governments manage their economies and study the interaction between inflation, unemployment, economic growth and foreign debt.

Practical experience
During this course, you will have the opportunity to participate in a Work Based Learning (WBL) placement experience, designed to allow you to extend your formal academic learning beyond the classroom. The WBL experience will provide the opportunity to bring your learning from the university into a work environment and test out your knowledge in a professional real-world environment.

Admission criteria
Applicants with recent secondary education
Subject adjustments: Applicants who successfully complete one of the following HSC or equivalent Year 12 subjects will have their selection rank increased by one point per study:
- Band 5 in English as an Additional Language or Dialect;
- Band 4 in English Advanced;
- Band 3 in Ancient History, Business Studies, Economics, Financial Services, Geography, Legal Studies, Mathematics Standard 1, Mathematics Standard 2, Mathematics Advanced, Mathematics Extension 2, Legal Studies, Modern History, Personal Development, Health and Physical Education (PDHPE), Society and Culture, Studies of Religion II;
- Band 2 in any Language other than English.
Selection ranks can be increased by a maximum of five points.
