Our Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Health Sciences will give you an understanding of the world and our bodies, and help you acquire skills you can apply in tomorrow's workforce. The health and medical sciences major includes theory and lab practice units, with placement opportunities in a range of healthcare settings. Once you've graduated, you'll also have the opportunity to undertake postgraduate study in health and science, including clinical programs, or any one of our humanities and social sciences postgraduate programs.

Practical experience

During this course, you will have the opportunity to participate in a Work Based Learning (WBL) placement experience, designed to allow you to extend your formal academic learning beyond the classroom. Admission criteria

Applicants with recent secondary education

Subject adjustments: Applicants who successfully complete one of the following HSC or equivalent Year 12 subjects will have their selection rank increased by one point per study:

  • Band 3 in Agriculture, Ancient History, Biology, Chemistry, Drama, Earth and Environmental Science, Geography, Legal Studies, Mathematics Standard 1, Mathematics Standard 2, Mathematics Advanced, Mathematics Extension 2, Modern History, Personal Development, Health and Physical Education (PDHPE), Physics, Society and Culture or Studies of Religion II;
  • Band 2 in any Language other than English.

Selection ranks can be increased by a maximum of five points.
