In our Bachelor of Engineering Honours (Industrial), you’ll gain a comprehensive engineering and business skillset while building your ability to think critically and creatively. You’ll discover how to respond to the evolving needs of employers and help them adapt to future challenges.
You’ll learn the fundamentals of industrial engineering, from maths and physics, to design and problem-solving. You’ll then gain sought-after skills in automation and robotics, advanced material, simulation, modelling of manufacturing processes and lots more.
Engineering (industrial).
Work in a wide range of sectors, such as aerospace, defence, natural resources, renewable energy, oil, gas, pharmaceutical and biotechnology, mining or electronics. Roles may include: Data-driven quality controller, logistician, medical technology designer, robotics engineer.

During this course, you will participate in one or more compulsory supervised work-based learning (WBL) placements designed to allow you to practise newly acquired skills, behaviours and knowledge while integrating theory with practice. The placements will immerse you in professional work culture, enabling you to develop and further enhance your skills.

One of English Advanced (Band 2) or English as an Additional Language or Dialect (Band 3) plus Band 2 in one of Mathematics Standard 2, Mathematics Advanced or HSC Mathematics Extension 2.
Subject adjustments: Applicants who successfully complete one of the following HSC or equivalent Year 12 subjects will have their selection rank increased by one point per study:
Selection ranks can be increased by a maximum of five points.
Subject proficiency: Demonstrated proficiency equivalent to stated Year 12 prerequisites.
