The Bachelor of Business (Entrepreneurship) will develop your understanding of the principles of innovation and how to apply them solving diverse entrepreneurial challenges that come with new ventures as well as established organisations. You’ll acquire the skills to recognise market trends, potential business opportunities, negotiate contracts, obtain funding, and also learn to apply lean principles (eliminating anything that does not add value) in development of a business concept and business plan. This course strengthens your entrepreneurial mindset with creativity, innovation, and research and analytical capabilities.

Business communications, customer experience management, ethics and sustainability, entrepreneurial financing, introduction to entrepreneurship, marketing for entrepreneurs, marketing fundamentals, sales and negotiation strategies, understanding people and organisations, venture ideation.

An important element of this course is the placement of the students with an endorsed host organisation(s). Work placements provide a valuable resource for you to develop hands-on practical experience to ensure you graduate confident and job-ready. A key task will be the completion of a reflective journal covering the experience and the identification and analysis of key learning outcomes.
Work placement hours: 300 hours
