This hands-on undergraduate certificate develops students’ skills and knowledge in applying consumer-level VR and AR hardware and software to produce immersive interactive experiences. Focusing on the core technical and design considerations when working with these technologies, students will create engaging experiences that are applicable to a wide range of paraprofessional industry roles and applications in the area of health, tourism, medical, military and entertainment.
The Undergraduate Certificate in Augmented and Virtual Reality Application Development enables students to learn the technical workflows associated with common augmented and virtual reality platforms, including scripting and asset pipeline; apply design and project management processes, and engage in the development of workplace skills desired by this industry.

Interview: In addition to applying through UAC, all applicants must undertake a telephone interview or personal interview on campus.
Identification: Applicants are required to upload documentation in their application to show photo identification and proof of citizenship. Accepted forms of identification are passport, driver's licence, birth certificate and/or citizenship certificate.
