About

The Diploma of Design is a pathway program to help you transition into the Bachelor of Design. You'll develop foundational knowledge and skills in a supportive learning environment alongside your peers in the bachelor's degree, setting you up for success in your future studies.

In this diploma, you'll study introductory courses in design concepts, motion design, design technologies, and creative content strategies. These courses underpin the foundations of our three-year Bachelor of Design program, and provide an important basis for formulating and communicating your ideas, for impact. You will also experience a foundation course that prepares you for your university studies while developing transferable skills such as academic writing, communication and digital literacy.

The Diploma of Design will help you accomplish your learning and professional goals, while fostering a sense of career direction. You will learn in innovative, creative studio spaces at the Queensland College of Art and Design and leverage unique opportunities in our world-class facilities, including galleries and purpose-built design studios.
