Passionate about sports, physical health and mentoring teenagers during their crucial formative years? Our new Bachelor of Education (Secondary) – PDHPE is perfect for you. Learn how to positively influence students' health, wellbeing and physical literacy with our online degree. You’ll be qualified to teach personal development, health and physical education to Years 7 to 12 students in government, Catholic and independent secondary schools Australia-wide.
You’ll study both a PDHPE major and minor and have the opportunity to study a second teaching area. Learn from teacher education experts, get practical experience in diverse secondary school settings, and hone your teaching practice. Promote healthy wellbeing, build resilience and encourage students to lead active lifestyles.

Secondary school teacher in PDHPE. Work in public, Catholic and Independent schools. Secondary school teachers work professionally as classroom teachers, executive teachers, principals and assistant principals. Admission criteria
Applicants with recent secondary education
Minimum ATAR: 65.00.
Applicants with higher education study
Successful completion of at least two university level subjects (AQF level Associate Degree or higher) demonstrating a reasonable prospect of success through the Grade Point Average (GPA) gained in these studies.
Applicants with vocational education and training (VET) study
- A completed AQF Certificate III (or higher) at an accredited provider demonstrating a reasonable prospect of success through the Grade Point Average (GPA) gained in these studies.
- 50% completion of an AQF Diploma level qualification at an accredited provider demonstrating a reasonable prospect of success through the Grade Point Average (GPA) gained in these studies.
