Are you an experienced health professional or health policy adviser considering further study into health research? UC’s Graduate Certificate in Health Research offers the freedom and flexibility to explore multiple areas in health research on a full- or part-time basis.
This course covers epidemiology, research planning, how to perform statistical analyses and understand the qualitative and quantitative aspects of the research process. You will learn industry methodologies, use ethical and economic considerations for research, and develop crucial technical writing skills.
This course offers a pathway into the Master of Health (Research) or a Ph.D. in Health, through further study.
A bachelor degree in a health-related* discipline as approved by the University or a minimum of five years of work experience in the health sector.
*A health-related discipline includes medicine, nursing, dentistry, psychology, counselling, pharmacy, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, nutrition and dietetics, optometry, speech pathology, sports and exercise science, speech pathology.
