ATAR: It’s nearly here

Here’s what you need to know.

When?

View your ATAR online from 1pm on Tuesday 17 December – that’s right, the same day as your HSC results.

Where?

Log in via UAC's website or the My UAC app.

While you're there...Download your ATAR notice. You can log in and access it until 29 February 2020. After that date there will be a charge.

How?

You'll need your Year 12 student number (or UAC application number) and your UAC PIN.

What?

Your ATAR is a number between 0.00 and 99.95 that universities use to help them select students for their courses.

Admission to most tertiary courses is based on your selection rank. Your selection rank is your ATAR plus any applicable adjustments (see below) although many institutions use other measures in conjunction with the ATAR including questionnaires, portfolios, auditions, interviews and tests.

Check your preferences

Once you have your ATAR you might want to change your course choices. Simply log in to your application on our website using your UAC application number and UAC PIN. Do this before midnight on Thursday 19 December to have your preferences considered in the December Round 2 offers on Monday 23 December – this is the first main round of offers for Year 12 students.

See if you're eligible for selection rank adjustments

Selection rank adjustments are applied differently from institution to institution and from course to course within the same institution. Read more about university selection rank adjustments.

Apply for any schemes or scholarships you're eligible for

Prepare for offer day

The first main offer round for Year 12 students is at 7.30am on Monday 23 December. Simply log in to the offer portal on our website using your UAC application number and UAC PIN.

You'll also receive an email from UAC, so it's important that we have your correct email address. This can be updated at any time via your application. Read more about completing your application.
