About

Combine your interests for a unique career that is connected to your talents and passions. In a double degree you focus on two areas of expertise to graduate with more knowledge, skills, and career options.

The UNSW Bachelor of Design focuses on the many ways design responds to historical, social and cultural values and how this can influence the future.

Whether you are challenging the conventional ways materials, processes or technologies are used, or you are finding new solutions to old problems, this degree will provide you with the right skills for a career across a range of established and emerging fields of design.

Not only will you learn how to combine creativity and independent thinking with practical and technical skills, you will discover a career that allows you to have a real and meaningful impact, each and every day.

The Bachelor of Media at UNSW unlocks the specialist expertise, knowledge, creative thinking and creative problem-solving skills to help you make an impact as a media professional, or simply set you up as a more aware professional to succeed in your second and third job, not just your first job.

You’ll have the opportunity to tailor a degree to your specific interests by specialising in public relations and advertising, communications and journalism, screen production, cinema studies, or media studies. During this time, you’ll develop practical job skills as well as conceptual, strategic, creative and critical capabilities to help you make an impact in the exciting and fast-changing world of media.
