About

The Bachelor of 3D Design and Animation is designed to provide you with knowledge and skills in computer-based 3D modelling, rigging, animation, lighting and texturing. This degree develops your practical skills with the study of 3D design, underpinned by foundations of 3D modelling, animation and interactivity in the games industry, and the study of professional practice in 3D design and animation workplaces.
The course incorporates industry-informed briefs, industry mentors, client projects, internship opportunities and the study of emerging areas of 3D design and animation practice. By the end of this course, you’ll have a combination of a well-rounded 3D design and animation generalist knowledge base with focused niche skills development in a 3D design and animation specialist area.
This cutting-edge degree can lead you into one of the most imaginative, innovative and technical fields of design – 3D design and animation. In your final year, as well as refining your skills, you’ll develop your professional portfolio, so you are ready to start working in an industry where you can unleash your creativity and your technical know-how every day.
