About

This course focuses on building scientific knowledge and practical skills, empowering students to find solutions to challenging environmental problems we face now and into the future. Building on core science principles students learn how to integrate discipline-specific knowledge with complex Earth systems. Studies include a capstone research project.

Field trips enable students to gain first-hand knowledge and a range of hands-on skills in many diverse environments. The University is located near a variety of unique study environments, including significant wetlands and estuaries, forests, coastal and inland national parks, and urban and rural development.

Shared majors are available in this course.

This course is also offered online with compulsory residential workshops in Lismore.
