About

Elite Education Institute’s Bachelor of Business course is accredited by the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA). Students are able to specialise in the following three areas:

  • professional accounting
  • business management
  • communications and public relations.

The course will be delivered through face-to-face classroom-based learning plus online facilitated learning (ie Moodle System). Necessary adjustments to the mode of delivery to facilitate a safe learning environment during the COVID-19 pandemic are currently in place.

Accounting, business management and marketing, economics, finance plus specialisation units in professional accounting, business management or communications and public relations.

Depending on your specialisation, you will able to seek employment in accounting, administration, management, public relations.

Professional recognition

The Bachelor of Business (Professional Accounting) is accredited by CPA Australia, Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, the Institute of Public Accountants.

Course completion

To qualify for the Bachelor of Business award, you must complete 24 units of study with an aggregated 144 credit points (ie 6 credit points per unit).

The course of study compromises:

  • a minimum of 8 first-year diploma level units, which provide an introduction to the key areas of business studies
  • a minimum of 8 specialisation units
  • a minimum of 6 elective units
  • 1 compulsory capstone unit.

The first year of the degree is equivalent to the Diploma of Business.

You have the option of finishing the course in:

  • three years (following the semester system of two teaching periods per academic year)
  • two years (following the trimester system of three teaching periods per academic year).

Fees and charges

The estimated annual tuition fee in 2022 is $18,000 based on studying two semesters in one year with 4 units per semester ($2,250 per unit). Fees are subject to change. Refer to EEI current fee information.

Admission criteria

Application form: You must complete an Undergraduate Application Form and submit it with certified copies of academic statements/reports, proof of identity (eg birth certificate or passport), and any additional supporting documentation

Minimum age: You must be 18 years of age before the course start date.

Interview: You are required to attend an interview with a senior member of EEI staff. This interview will be conducted in person, by phone, or via other available technology. The purpose of the interview is to ensure you have a high chance of success in your chosen course based on identified and potential academic skills, personal resilience, resources, motivation and commitment.
