Here are answers to the most frequently asked questions about the application process. If you are having problems applying through UAC read the Website technical help FAQ.
To ensure an optimal experience when using UAC's online application services, use an up-to-date browser on a desktop or laptop computer.
Apply is available between 7.30am and midnight (Sydney time), seven days a week.
You can only submit one application to UAC International. If you change your mind about the courses you are applying for, you can change your preferences using Check & Change. Your application is valid until July 2017.
You can choose up to six course preferences.
However, if you're interested in only one course, then only enter that course.
If you're interested in several courses, enter the course codes in order of preference up to the maximum of six course preferences.
Yes. Each institution will consider your application separately and they will consider your courses in the order you've listed them in your application. You could therefore receive one offer from each institution to which you've applied.
Order your courses according to your preferences, with the course you would most like to do at the top, the next most preferred second and so on down the list.
Most Year 12 students do not need to provide supporting documents.
If you do need to provide documents to UAC, this will be indicated in your application confirmation package, which you'll be prompted to download when you complete your application through UAC. Your confirmation package will include a cover sheet titled:
Your preferences can include any courses starting in late 2016, semester 1, 2017 and the second half of 2017. Your application will remain valid throughout the admissions period, from August 2016 until July 2017.
If there is more than one start date for a course, you'll need to select your preferred start date. You can apply for the same course with multiple start dates; however, each start date is considered a new preference.
If you are successful you'll receive an unconditional offer in one of the offer rounds. Offer round dates are listed on our international key dates page. You can also view and download your unconditional offer through Check & Change. If you use an agent your agent will also be able to view your offers.
