Undergraduate Medicine and Health Sciences Admission Test (UMAT)

UMAT is used specifically to help with the selection of students into medicine, dentistry and some health science degree programs at undergraduate level.

The test assesses general attributes and skills gained through prior experience and learning, such as critical thinking and problem solving, interactions with others, and abstract non-verbal reasoning. It does not measure academic knowledge.

UMAT 2017 (for 2018 admissions) will be held on 26 July 2017.
Registrations close at 5pm on 2 June 2017.
(Late registrations are accepted on payment of a late fee until 5pm on 16 June 2017.)

Registration for the 2017 test (for 2018 admissions) will open in December 2016. Visit the UMAT website or call (03) 8508 7643 for further information.
